Just bought one of these:

I know its not a true rock crawler and not going to win me any races but I just liked the idea that it is a little like a road going 4x4 that can do a little bit of everything.

And I must admit I really liked the idea of the locking Diffs. mainly becasue my full size 4x4 doesn't!

When I go offroading and get the Trak stuck I will just get out and continue walking and drive the RC version! lol

Anyone else got one and have any storeis to share?

I don't have one but is that the kit that allows selectable hi/low range from the controller? I read a review on it a while back but I might be confusing it with something else...

Cool looking truck mate, let me know how you get on with it as I'm purely Axial / Homebrew w Axial axles.

More pics!! Very Happy

Yes you can select Hi/Low from the controller as well as the locking diffs. Either both unlocked, front only or front and rear locked.

I was looking at a Losi Night Crawler but as I am not likely to be doing any serious crawling and just "playing" about I thought the Summit would be ideal.

I like the look of that Axial Wraith but (among the circle in the know) we've looked up some crazy crazy prices for these things...

I am building something similar to the Wraith out of an XTrail chassis and axial axles so I'll have to wait until I break that before forking out for more.

I love hte idea of selectable locking diffs and range in the Summit, that would be the main selling feature for me, please let me know if these components hold up to the abuse it will get (more and more of!) Wink
