hi all dont want any trick mods or anything like that on my jeep just want it to run for longer than five mins at a time

so searched ebay for batterys and came up with this bad boy http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/9-6V-2600mAh-transmitter-...sh=item35b1ae7157

now the company say they can fit with a diffrent connector so thats fine but will this battery last longer than the standard one in the jeep... now it should do as its 2600mah more than twice that of the jeeps

any help or a shove towards a similar priced battery would be ace

Hi Mate

Without a shadow of doubt that will last a millionfold longer than the 200mah jobbies they provide.

Your biggest issue here is going to be if the NB board and motors will put up with being run for so long without burning out Laughing - also the voltage on that battery is that a bit higher than what the NB runs at? I think most 7.2V batteries will do the job for you I'd just make sure the battery enclosure can physically allow them to fit.

You'll need a Tamiya style connecter on the end to hook into a NB.

Batteries like:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Voltz-1800mah-7-2v-Stick-Battery-Pack-Tamiya-Plug-/160547300334?pt=UK_ToysGames_RadioControlled_JN&hash=item25615d63ee

Should work - and there are pleanty of cheap ones around - but make sure they'll fit in the tray.

Those are cool, I bought one of those specifically to nick the shell. I basically threw out the 'car' part of it. I remember took ages to pick the stickers off and the damn plastic is very hard to 'key' into for a new coat of paint... Wink

The seats and dash in that particular model are all removable which saved a lot of hastle.

Good luck with it mate these things are a great giggle!
