hi there is some one out there
as for locking diffs they are rearer than hens teeth(i think theres a company in oz that did them)
you can get a limeted slip diff for them
why do you need locking diffs for serious playing
why not get the supension working better then you dont need locking diffs

Hi thanks for your reply, it's mainly looosing traction thru slippy mud that causes me the problems, so im not sure if the suspension upgrade would make a difference, recently a friend of mine in a discovery really showed the benefits of locking diffs as he got stuck once to my three times on a not too impassable green lane , i have good mud tyres, a 10 000lb winch and a very big snorkle which all looks a bit pathetic if i can't drive thru a little mud which he made look soo easy, ( what made it worse was that he had road tyres on) im thinking maybe air lockers ? but obviously it all comes down to price. unless anyone has any other ideas to give me, cheers Dave

Your cheapest option would be to weld your diff up, so its locked, problem is if you do this onthe rear its very bad on the road.
BUT, if you have manual free wheeling hubs you could weld your front diff and unlock the hubs for road use.
Problem is you are more liable to break stuff...
