My Manual says the following grade oils can be used but I have not a clue what it means!:
DL-42: CC or CD, DL-52: CD
Tried google but still clueless.

Realised that DL-42 and DL-52 are the type of engines used in the Fourtrak. Mine is the DL-52 so need to used grade CD which I have found out is obsolete.
I also found this:
For diesel oils, the first letter is 'C' (meaning Commercial category, but you can also think of it as Compression ignition). 'CH' is the highest grade at the moment, (technically CH-4 for heavy-duty) but 'CF' is the most popular and is well adequate for passenger vehicle applications.
CC Introduced in 1961 for all diesels.
CD Introduced in 1955 for certain naturally aspirated and turbo engines.
I will just be getting 10W40 Semi Synthetic Diesel oil which I am sure will be more than good enough.
