So..........Hello
I have an SJ, got it in stock form about 4 years ago. It needed a bit of work, few holes here and there until i found a lot more when i started welding it up Laughing . Since owning it I have had coil springs fitted on some lj70 axles, had it as a daily driver and green laner and then just lost all enthusiasm for it and it's been sat on my drive for the last year an a half and havent been on here either for that period of time. Bit of rust has set in, not too bad just cosmetic but enough to roll my sleeves up and start tinkering with it. Just stuck some 35 muds on it as the 31s made it scream on the motorway. And now I am starting to take the body off for good old spruce up, fix up and make it look the dogs bongos, hopefully with a bit of help, tips and advise from here. Got to sort the axles out, need to move the rear axle a bit somewhere, not sure at the mo as not sure where to,got a vibration issue, weld up a few bits on the floor, overhaul the gearbox as it snitches 3rd to 4th, and whinges, get a 410 box to marry up with the 413 bits. quite a bit to keep me busy. Will put photos up soon. Just need to work it out. Johnny

Yeah, probably still shakes about when accelerating Laughing . Will have the body of to do a patch on one of the off side body mounts that I couldnt do properly a few years ago, just undersealed it. Embarassed . Not proud of that one, once off I can get at the prop and rear axle easier. I may give you a shout and see if I can make use of your welding skills. I need to also get rid of that horrible agricultural joint on the rear A frame and get a johnnyjoint.

If you need it again, it's at the top of the gallery. Theres a tutorial I made for inserting youtube videos as well.

Smile
