Hi All,

I have a v8 coffee table that has been donated to me to do with as I wish.
Now the problem is I dont know if I can get it to core and if I auction it on here then whoever wins will have to collect as it is so heavy.
What are my options ????

any suggestions welcome.....(well polite and physically possible Laughing )

Colin.

The V8 block is heavy for alloy, but not that heavy to carry. But can you not get a pallet delivery for about £25? All depends on how far away the buyer is I suppose.

Also, pics!

Hi Colin,

A stripped Rover V8 block is not too heavy. If it will fit in the back of a Mondeo I will collect it and bring it to CORE (company pays for fuel!). I may even buy it myself!

Or, if you prefer, I will deliver from your place to within a 50 mile radius of your home for the winning bidder. As long as it fits in my Mondeo.

Need pics

here are a few piccys of the table. The pistons are just out of level as we moved the table and forgot to set them flat for the glass again Embarassed
As you can see it would make a great centrepiece in any roon and you can fit bottles of your favourite tipple into the cylinders. The glass can be 'fixed' in place with a blob of clear silicon, the blue tags are just so it san be displayed

Best wishes

Colin.

Not that I'm running out of room in my lounge, but can you measure the size of the glass?

And when does the auction end? Hint: pay day is at the end of the month!!

Hi Colin,

That looks like a Rover V8 block. It should all fit in my Mondeo.
Measurements of the glass will confirm it.

Colin,

That will fit in my car. So my offer is I will deliver it to the winning bidder within a 50 mile radius of Luton. If it ends up in my garage in Reading then I'll negotiate if the bidder contacts me. No delivery charge as long as the distance is sort of sensible. It may be best if it was not at CORE due to risk of damage. If you PM me your number I'll call you to discuss.
