These might help, if not ring around local nissan dealers. They may have some experiance, if not ask in halfords, they have a decent radio knowledge, but when it comes to buying a lead look for it on the net as halfords can be expensive.

I know what you mean mate.

The Terrano has a REDICULOUS oversized radio facia which is larger than DIN but not as big as Double DIN (I think)

This is compounded by the fact that the Hazard switch is part of the radio facia so if you swap the radio out you need a new hazard swithc and have to mount it somewhere else.

AFAIK the only single DIN converstion kit is this one for £60+p&p Rolling Eyes
Ebay

Plus £30 for the hazard switch from the same seller:roll: Rolling Eyes

I want a single DIN CD player in mine (only have a cassette - on an 52 plate?!) and a CB so I am hoping the CB unit can fit in the slot on this - much cheaper - Halfords Ford fascia.

And a generic red flashing press-on-press-off switch:

I cant find any cheaper items that you have listed. And nothing else springs to mind. I would go for the single DIN and get a seperate switch for hazards like you sudjested. I cant see a problem with having A cb radio as well. There are some slimline CB systems out there. I have a similar set up in my Truck. The biggest problem was the length of the CB box unit. I ended up cutting the back of the centre console out ( first drilling four holes with a drill driver and then using a plaster board knife carefuly cutting the rest out), allowing the cables to sit further in and alowing a flush fit.

Have you concidered a CD multichanger wired up to the exsisting radio/cassete and mounting the CB radio box elseware, like driver/pasenger footwell or Interior rood?

Hope it helps

I have my old dvd player i want to fit so my boy can watch it.
How easy is it to cut out the hazzard switch wires and fit to a switch i know its not just 2 wires to do this?

Probably 2 wires. The other 2 will be for illuminating the switch, which IIRC is an MOT requirement for the hazard lights?

Hi,
I have just sorted out my radio with this problem.
you can buy parts from Nissan, costly but worth it in end to fit any single din radio.

Radio mask (facia panel) 68470-0X800
hazard switch 25290-9F500

guys at Nissan on Thornton road, Bradford, where very help full.

wiring for harard switch fits directly into new switch.
then you needs radio harness, i found a primera one was exact match.
