This site has been relaunched. For those who don't know it's a pretty useful summary of all the lanes we can drive, with map references and info. You need to join to get the most out of it:
http://www.way-finder.org.uk/
I've checked the lanes round my area, and it all seems accurate and up to date. Worth a scan if you're searching for somewhere new to go.

At the risk of poking a Hornet's nest, is this the only Wayfarer site now?
I was signed up for the original about 5yrs ago, very good it was.

A reminder that TrailWise is supported by all the serious laning organisations, 4 and 2 wheeled ; is connected to the Tread Lightly! initiative ... and doesn't disappear for 6 months intervals ...

Not sure which "it" you meant, but will clarify anyways...
* Anyone can use TrailWise without registration - but registered users get more useful ways to use it.
* Anonymous data is never accepted on principle, all the info comes from bona fide people (ordinary club members, police and authority officers etc.)
* Registration is free but generally only available to members of various associations; it is a blatant way to bring users into some organisation or another with a clear code of conduct, and to exclude hooligans.

By the way way-finder is free, for those that wish to know.
Cheers.

True - so is our local library, but that doesn't have recent user updates on the status and condition of green-lanes either.
When the Wayfinder domain expired, I thought that the system itself had died too. It has had very few regular users for a long time and is nothing like so up-to-date or current as Trailwise. The last time I logged in, there had only been a handful of new lanes added in the 12 months since my previous login. I'd bet that only a vanishingly small amount of user evidence and updates were added in that period too.
Trailwise is fully and freely available to and is used by members of GLASS, TRF, CRAG and many members of GLASS affilates too. It has limited free availability to any member of the public.

You can get access with CRAG, GLASS or TRF membership.
