mitsubishi l200 front wheel bearing when the bearing has been changed dose it have to be retitend a few week later on y reg a mate has just got 1 and the person he got it off said all the bearings where done a few weeks ago but will need to be retitend is this true thanks

yes and no. general rule of thumb is to over tighten and then slacken off when it was installed, but as you dont know exactly what has been done it would probably be best to check torque settings for the bearing and make sure its correct or adjust accordingly.
for example, my shogun has to be torqued to 130 to 200Nm while turning hub by hand then slackened off and re-torqued to 25Nm
