anyone else heard of using small amounts of ATF in the diesel as a "pick me up" for the engine.
Seems to give it a good clear out.

yep i use 2 stroke, engine is less smokey on a cold startup and dosent give a black blow out of smoke when you boot it

found it to be of no advantage with svo, mixed a batch in a cubbie, no signs of it settling out over a month of sitting there,used in truck no appreciable difference with the way it ran
the old atf ( mineral) is the one to use not the new stuff, not tried it in veg oil but on the veg forums theres a fair few used and trying it, water injection as in mist is poss the better option for clearing out an engine and for apparently relieving ring gumming

i use it with new veg and as said it does not settle or go like jelly,i still have a test pot in the shed with diesel,veg and 2stroke in.
and i find if i dont use it for a few weeks it starts knocking to me but when you put it next to another diesel it still sounds better

Have read about ppl who use it as an engine fuel, they filter used ATF and mix it with diesel.
Apparently the IDI diesels fare better than the DI diesels when running it as fuel.
