Hello,

Have a problem with my ARB lockers on my RR classic

lockers seem to be leaking and not locking at all. have checked the airline and compressor and all are ok... the bulkhead fitting on the diff seems to be fine too, so im assuming its internal. Anyone know what i should check once i open the diffs up?

Cheers!

Not knowing them very well I think it could be that the copper pipe has fractured or that one of the o-rings have split?

most likely it will be a split o ring
sucks though there worth a bit from arb about 200 dollars retail here i think but a hair etc stuck in between the o ring and sealing surface can be enough to stop the locker engaging

They use a square section O rings that sometimes leak. I replaced mine only to find that it wasn't the O ring leaking afterall...it was the union fitting/olive on the copper pipe that was leaking Mad .

Replacement is a thirty second job once you have the diff out. Just be ultra carefull when putting the new one in. ARB reccomend that you apply a very light force whilst twisting the seal housing into place.....use plenty of gear oil as lubication.

There's plenty of info on the web about correct fitment.
