Hi guys
Just after a quick bit of advice by someone in the know please
Needing to put new tyres on my 53 plate Terrano 2 lwb. It's completely standard at the moment so just want to know if I can put 245/75/16 or 255/70/16 on the Terrano without any problems, rubbing or modifications done to the vehicle. I understand that when you reach 31inch mods might be needed whereas the above two sizes should be under.
Any help much appreciated
Cheers chaps

from what i understand up to 31" is ok, 32 or larger need mods
there are size calculator things online where you put in the size in the manner that you have written it there e.g. 255/70/16 and it tells you the size in inches. google it.

On a late model the bumpers are a different shape, only mod to fit 31s might be to remove the mud flaps - thats it and not always necessary.

Thanks guys, yeah used the tyre size calculator thats where I got my tyre sizes to try to keep it under 31 inch.
Going by what I've read by Terranosaurus in previous posts the standard wheel size is 7 inch and can use up to 265 tyres is that correct, just writing from memory.
Might have a look to see what steel wheel and tyre packages are available for 31 inch
The misses is shaking her head at me

hi all, has anyine gone for insa special 31" on the terrano 2?
Im just thinking about investing in a set of mt's and am unsure wether to go for the like of a set of kingpins or insas??
would insas be too aggressive and likely to catch?
thanks all
