My fuel pumps leaking badly, I happen to have a 200tdi bosch pump hanging about, anyone know if it will fit the older engine?

should be possible but you will have to change the injectors to the Bosche ones compatiable with the pump

Looks like I've found a replacement pump of known quality locally.
Cheap too
