None of the bulbs in my U1300 switches are working. Just took the fog light switch out to sort it for the MoT test - and I can't work out how to get into the bulb. Anyone got any suggestions please.
These are the slightly raised "square" push button switches.
Thanks,
Ian

these switches come in 3 bits, if you remove the switch from the dash panel, the top push in bit will come loose if you release the locking tabs on the sides this will give you access to the bulbs, there just normal pea bulbs, you should be able to get them at halfrauds, the third part is the ident on the front of the switch, if you look closely at the front you should see a small cutout between the coulred bit and the black surround, a small pointy tool in this will prise the insert out. good luck with them as they usually break the locking lugs trying to split them. as an added bonus the switches are still available from your local mercedes commercial dealer, just remember to take your chassis no. in with you as this accsesses the IPC for your particular build, and surprise, there not that expensive, but remember 3 bits to each switch.
have fun !!!!
