UK Unimog Fans,

We’re now in our sixth year of Mogfest informal meetings of like-minded Unimog enthusiasts gathering at steam rallies and other similar events. Below is our programme of meetings for 2010 and we hope that you will be able to join us at some of these events.

If you wish to take part in our meetings then please apply direct to the hosting event using the relevant entry form which may be downloaded from www.mogfest.co.uk . Attendance at short notice and/or on the day may be acceptable but at the discretion of the organiser hosting the event. Note that Unimog enthusiasts without vehicles are always welcome to visit through payment of the hosting event's usual entry fee, where applicable.

Note that both our 2010 meets are essentially static shows unfortunately with no opportunities for off-roading. This may change in 2011 though!

2010 Meet Programme

16 May 2010
Round Timber Club Reunion and Merrist Wood Open Day

John Harraway invites you to the eighth annual reunion for former members of the sadly now defunct Round Timber Club. Unimogs especially welcome! Merrist Wood is located off the A323 Guildford to Aldershot Road in Surrey.

12 - 13 June 2010
Sixth Midlands Mogfest at Astwood Bank Vintage Gathering, Astwood Bank, Worcestershire.

North Worcestershire Vintage Tractor and Engine Club invite all Unimogs to this year's Vintage Gathering at the premises of S E Davis & Son, Astwood Bank, Worcestershire.

If you could apply promptly for both the May and June meetings then that would be most appreciated. Camping and exhibition space at Astwood Bank is going to be at a premium if not reduced compared with last year and will allocated on a first come basis by the organising club. Entries should therefore be received by Su Sumners asap and by 1 May at the absolute latest. Please mark your entry form MOGFEST in the club/organisation section of the form.

Note that all visitors must comply with the entry requirements on the event’s application form. More information and conditions of entry etc may be found on www.mogfest.co.uk.

We look forward to seeing you at our Mogfest meetings.

Regards,

Stuart

Guys, if you were interested in a glorious mud hole gathering I do have a 600 acre quarry at my disposal!

If enough people wanted to make a weekend of it, Im sure I could justify opening the gates for a muddy mogfest.

Especially as I have a mog myself Wink

EDIT:
Sorry, been a lurcher for a good few months, just realised this is my first post, mods please delete if its against the rules, did not want to come in selling wares, genuinely here for mog interest.

Book early to avoid disappointment! Laughing

I reckon if I set of after breakfast I could be there within the month, maybe! 40kmh has been acheived and that was towing a full trailer of bales across a field at the time too oh and it did hit 45 MPH on the main road but that was behind a disco and before I had read the towing guidance in the manual!

Yes it was my orange mog at the show.

We have met before, I saw you at last years TOR show at Kirton, I was driving a really baggy looking Range Rover buggy. (that was fitted with arbs, ashcrofted, twin winches and megasquirt Smile )

Sorry but the Sixth Midlands Mogfest at Astwood Bank, scheduled for 12 – 13 June, has been cancelled.

The Astwood Bank Vintage Gathering under whose auspices we hold the event has been forced to contract due to the loss of a field used as a car park. As a result, the organisers have been forced to limit numbers of exhibits attending to those having booked before a certain date. As only one other Unimog had made a formal application, and no exhibits arriving on the day will be allowed, then I’m afraid I have had no alternative other than cancel.

Our meet at Merrist Wood this coming Sunday goes ahead as planned with hopefully a good showing of Unimogs.
