i have a 4.6 range rover engine with the intermediate front cover (err6814) on and now after running the engine in have decided to fit an oil cooler. got the range rover 4.0ltr cooler with the cooler pipes pbp101150 and 60 which are listed for the front cover- problem!!! With everything joined up the oil flow doesnt go thro the cooler. On further investigation i realised the return pipe from the cooler has to close off the original port from the oil pump to the oil filter for the cooler to work-how the h*** do you do that!!! Has anybody had this prob or any ideas???

Seeing as there's been no responses, welcome to the forum. I'd have thought putting on a remote oil filter which will give the flow and return needed for the cooler might be one of the easiest ways of doing it.
