Has anyone had any experience of these Lucas products ? http://www.motorshop1.co.uk/Lucas_oil.htm I've got problems with the TC lockup on my autobox, spoke to Ashcrofts who said it could be valveblock or TC which means a new or recon box at some point in the future, either way €€€€'s This stuff seems too good to be true, so has anyone ever used it? And is it too good to be true?
Also the steering box is leaking slightly, so will the Lucas additive help there or just gum up the system. (1998 Disco 300tdi Auto)
Cheers

Unsure about the Lucas products but i use Bitron products, i don't worry about the marketing but the products seem good.

Now that i have read the link i can say i have used the product and can say it worked for me.
I put it in both the front and rear differential and it did indeed stop leaks.

Cheers for that, the problem with the autobox isn't a leak, its the possibility that the valve block is a little gunked up.

If it is then Bi-tron will do the trick, i have found it really good for that.
I bought a car once and tested the economy before i put it in and after, turns out i got an extra 50klms per liter when i put Bi-tron in the engine.

That's pretty amazing, you put an additive in your gearbox and get over 100 miles per gallon extra ! I only get 12 MPG at the moment so I'll try that as 112 MPG would be great

I converted it already, 50kms per liter is over 200 km per gallon
