Hello all, I've sold my SJ with SPI vit lump in it, I haven't used it for months and now the guy has got it home and trashed it about it's playing up
His description is it won't rev and feels like its got kangaroo petrol in it
He is first going to put some new petrol in but if that don't fix it does anyone have a suggestion?
And telling him to f&&£ off is not an option btw as I know the guy and would rather sort the problem out.

Well he's only had it a few hours and as you say it could well be a simplistic issue.
My money is on fuel or a corroded connection, I might go and have a look see tomorrow.

Get out the can of WD and blast all the connections to the SPI, and dizzy cap, mine was running like hell till i did that, figured the cold weather meant a little condensation had got into the plug that plugs into the dizzy cap, and made it run shockingly.. misfiring and the works lol, sounded nice tho.
