right i have had rc cars previosley but none have been offroad ones and i want one but dont know what to go for,i want somthing first of all under £150ish and is a scaler but also want it to be allright offroad....and dont realy know what is best so if there is anything anyone knows of or is selling theirs please let me know...thanks noah(preferably electric)

you cant go wrong with the tamiya really and thats a pretty good price however you will need to buy all the radio gear and batteries for it.

the other one is a bit of a cheapy one and TBH you would be better spending the extra on an axial ax10 or SX10 however they are a bit more pricey.

I know its not a scaler but you could get a losi mini crawler rtr for £150 and they are brilliant little bits of kit just a lot smaller than an AX10 then again it means you can do more indoors and easily fit them in a rucksack.

The Toyota is a very good machine, got one myself, dont by the other one. You should also look at the Tamiya Pajero or Jeep and aslo look for the RC4WD Trail finder, heres their website http://www.rc4wdstore.com/2/

The mini losi is excellent, dont buy the other one. You can build an excellent scaler from it

Save up a bit more cash and go for one of the Axial SCX10 scaler range-you wont be disapointed; awesome out of the box and if you break something parts are available at most RC car shops[GB Models suggested] Very Happy

well i know its been a while but i kind of gave up rely, only just affording to build my 1:1 Sad but i was in the garage the other day and dug out my old cars and found one i had from a couple of years ago... its a lr90 in police colours, its got freestyle alloys, a removably hardtop/truck cab, ive taken the bull bar off cos its fugly, im thinking of getting an rc4wd winch for the front and a set of simex copies for it Smile im a happy person lol Smile pics in a bit Smile
