HI All, I have a V reg fuel injection 8v Vit and with the cost of fuel going up I am looking into alternatives to keep the price down. Has any one got their Vit running either on lpg or hydrogen?
With lpg I was wondering where people have put the extra tank as there's not alot of room to start with I got a 2" body lift but still not enough room underneath. Any recommended kits?
With hydrogen I have read different results is it worth investigating further?
Many thanks in advance Brian

hi cheers, I've had a measure up and there is only about 200mm of height with out it hanging down below the chasis rails and had a look on line cant seem to find any narrow tanks with a reasonable capacity, and as I use it for off roading I don't want it hanging down too far. Thanks

it will have to be some sport of compromise, can you not remove the petrol tank and put a gas tank there and keep a smaller petrol tank, maybe a 20 litre jerry can with a fuel pickup braized into it in the back?

yeah I did think of that and have had a look at some of the fuel tanks used by others on the site, but wandered if some one had come up with a brilliant idea of how to fit it all in.
Cheers
