I too have been looking out for some crawler gears, then I thought, would I really use them? When playing off road i've allways found 1st fine for pulling away on any incline/ crawling over any terrian. Maybe thier more usefull with oversize tyres?, has anyone got any first hand experiance of playing with crawlers??

Mike,
Using crawler gears off road can depend on what surface you're driving on. On mud, I'd say they're not of alot of use. They come into they're own on surfaces like rock and soft sand. I've got the 2 speed version and have never used them off road, but they're a nice addition to have on the truck!!!

Soren,
I could really use some crawlers for use on steepbanks when I am using a large rotary mower from my rear PTO. I need the revs up to spin the mower but I dont want great forward speed.
Do you think your friend will know how much to buy a set and ship to Gloucester UK? I dont have any idea how to do that!

Phil.

Well shipment can only be a very rough estimate from my side I'm afraid. As I bet prices differ at your side of the belt Smile But I got a pallet shipped from UK to Denmark for about 100 pounds. But Piggy on here PM'ed me about the crawler gears and I told him to look up a price, maybe he has? If so you could get in touch and make a deal to split the shipping costs maybe? He has about four 2-speed crawler gears AFAIK
Sorry for the late answer, have been busy Smile

Soren,
Thanks for that - what does the AKAIK mean? If anyone else knows about shipping these - I would be glad to hear? If I could get a usable set for £350 delivered - I would be up for it!

Phil
