Eberspacher or Webasto are your best bet. Both do wet and dry versions and are diesel powered.
The Dry versions just heat the air and have a blow fan the wet versions will heat water too and can either be used to provide hot water for showering/washing or as an engine pre-heater to warm the engine prior to setting off in the morning.
The Webasto ones are cheaper (Thermo Top C) and these were also used on Range Rovers so you might find a used one on ebay or a scrappy?
Eberspacher - what I have - are very good but very expensive.
Electric heaters will be OK for short bursts but will flatten a battery very quickly. Probably best to invest in a bit of insulation on the truck and a good sleeping bag!

I used a Webasto ThermoTop C in the Arctic at -50C, only issues were bad fuel but ran OK. Fitted it ourselves, fairly straightforward. Good unit can highly recommend. Only downside is it gets too hot in the cabin, it would be best with a thermo cut out fitted.

We fit both Eberspacher and Webasto models to ambulances at work.
Eberspacher get my vote everytime.
Webasto timer relay/control unit are on a 30% commissioning failure rate for us.
Eberspacher is less than 0.1% commissioning failures.
We fit 2-300 a year.
Got to eberspacher website for full (80+pages) technical manuals to get an idea of what they are about.
