I'm not sure what your trying to achieve here, are you going to weld the actual diff or the hubs???

the hubs don't need to be welded - ever. just leave them in the lock position, most models came with fixed hubs standard, which are basically permanently in the lock position anyway..

Joel.

personally...

I wouldnt..

Free wheeling hubs or not.. off road.. when they are locked you will have almost no steering..

Do you have power steering?? if not it will be very hard to turn..

You'll spend your entire time getting in and out to lock/unlock the hubs..

Im only running 205 15s

And i meant im only locking the diffs, what about stuff that has locking diffs from in the car like ARBs ?

my idea was to only lock the front as it is going on the road and i thought with have free wheeling hubs i can turn the front hubs off and it wont snap half shafts when getting on road traction. Is this not the case?

any help is welcomed help ta !

Think lock rites may be the way to go, about as cheap as you can get ,but still driveable.

mine came welded up and the lad before used it as an everyday car to go to work n it was fine for him, but with the power i have now im sure its that that makes it pull to the left, i think but its not bad at all really jsut goes round corners like a go cart, but not as stable
