Hello (again)
Was a member some years ago - lifted blue Land Cruiser, then lifted and locked Jeep hybrid with 350 Chevy). You'll have heard the latter...
... and seen it break.
Been enjoying an M3 for the last 3 years - and have so far managed to hang on to my licence - but that won't last forever and I need something for collecting fire wood. And while I'm about it, I may as well get back into trialling.
I am considering a petrol 90, Cherokee, Disco, or similar. Needs 4 litres or a little more (don't really trust the 4.6s), and I'll plan on LPG at some stage.
Anybody got anything for sale?
Regards
Linton Chilcott
Nairn.

That's nice, Phil - Thanks.
Still got a P38?
I got close to buying one instead of the M3. In retrospect, that was close enough!
Regards

I can sell you a 4.6 V8 stage 3 on LPG that you can trust.
Built by RPI Engineering as the owners/demonstrator
110 hard top with a new build 4.6 with 4 speed auto, runs on LPG only,
Starts & runs on gas, no petrol tank fitted.
2 lpg tanks 90 ltr above the tow bar & 150 ltr inside.
Thats at least 550 miles range (2.5 miles to the litre min)
1992/J reg. on a personal plate J44 ***
but rebuilt totally, no rust other than the door bottom blisters.
new road springs & dampers fitted last year.
Will MOT it for 12 or 13 months before sale.
The orange colour might not suit everyone.
Fixed price at £3000,
which is less than half what a RPI engine conversion costs.
No hurry to sell, just too many vehicles, so something must go this year.
www.v8engines.com
its in 'V8 wizard' in the 'photo gallery'.
PM if interested or any questions.

Thanks, George, that looks very interesting.
I particularly like the photo of it steaming at both ends!
However, I'll have to ask you to chop 20 inches out of the middle...
I had a long wheelie before (the blue Land Cruiser) and, while it was a lot of fun, I'm really keen on a shorter vehicle this time - it does make a big difference on the uppie / downie stuff = even more fun.
Thanks again.

Bought a P reg 3 litre V6 SWB Shogun in the end.

See you when I've got 'em.
