Hi all, looking at doing a project so need a bit of info on a SWB G Wagon, what i need to know is what i need to do to get 35 inch tyres under, if i need to do a suspension and also a body lift.
Whats the best way to go, i can make a lot of parts myself as want to keep to a low budget.
With this lift what sort of flex will i get and if anyone has pics i would be very gratefull.
Many thanks Wolly

Why not just put a G Wagen body on a shortened U404 chassis, most of the engineering will be done for you, (Big Tyres - No Problemo) Can,t wait to see it when you,ve finished it, no matter what you do. Don,t forget the pics when its finished. Just an anecdote: I once pushed a Gwagen (nice military soft top) across a car park with a LWB Landrover. Guess who,s G wagen it was? (Clue: he shouldn,t have parked in the SDS Parking spot and he flew a Sea King, Ginger wife, 2 daughters!) And No I didn,t get a bollocking, he was told that not even God can park in the SDS spot unless he,s an SDS driver)

Mine had 34x10.50R15 Simex Jungle trekkers fitted with nothing else but a 2" spring lift.
Never rubbed.
