I've seen photographs of an adapter which fits to the freewheeling hubs comonly found on landcruisers, which allows a highlift jack to attach directly to the hub, allowing you to lift the wheel directly.

but, I cant find a manufacturer or retailer of this device. can anyone help?

also, I assume that since the hubs on toyotas are the same as those fitted to suzuki's (Aisin) that this adapter will fit equally well on a suzuki, unless anyone knows of a reason otherwise.

I would suggest getting one of the wheel lift kits, lot's of off road outfitters stock them. They're cheap and they make your high-lift more interchangable with other vehicles

why don't you go for one of these instead:

no risk of damaging the hub and you can use it on just about any wheel that has gaps/holes in.

Potentially very useful for lifting wheels to stick waffle boards etc. under for recoveries, though I'm sure someone must have tried changing a wheel with one before only to realise part way through that they need some form of axle stand as well.

I dont think you need one, just put the toe of the jack under the lip of the rim (where the balance weight fits).
I have done this for years to put my sand laders under.

Unless you've alloy wheels you like the look of.

I've a jackmate thing for fitting in the wheel. It doesn't fit. You need multi spoke wheels for it to go in, lattice wheels don't work.

What ever you choose, check before you buy.

I like the look of that, only problem is you could only use it on the front wheels.
