I am currently looking for a new set of boots for my 90.

At the moment its sat on 33" maxxis mudzillas, which i have found to be very good, but they are very noisey on the road and a little over the top for the work it is doing now.

So far i have looked at:

Cooper stt's
Kumho kl71's
Bfg KM2's

Looking at going for 235 85 r 16's

It does not do very high milage on the road, maybe 4000/year, but does quite a bit of towing.
It does not do any serious offroad work, more farm work, but i need to keep the ability of getting in and out of fields with making as little mess as possible.

What are the opinions on tyres available? and pro's and con's

Thanks for any input/ideas

I had the same quandry and opted for the 255/85r16 KM2's for their high milage but if you're only doing 4000 a year then there are much cheaper alternatives, if you're looking at cheaper 235/85r16 then I'd go for the KL71 - but price no object KM2.

STT's every time.

Fantastic tyres at a good price.

They have great wear properties, are fantastic in the gloop and hold the road well even when braking in the wet.

I use them on my Discovery, dead happy with them

I have a set of 33/12.50/15 KL71s on 10j modulars which will be going on ebay this week , finally selling the 110 and putting it back on standard rims ...

the Kumhos are Great on and off road ( the kumhos ) less noise than my BFG MTs , more grip on road especially when in the wet BY FAR and just as good if not better off road
