Just had a look under my mates pajero 2.8 manual 95 model and theres a rectangular hole that if you look up at you can see the clutch thrust plate ?
Looks like a plate is missing.
Does anyone know what its called and where he can get one from please ?
Cheers

hello mate, not 100% on this one but i think the rectangular hole is normally covered with a rubber seal, if its the one im thinking of there should be a round hole very close by, these are used for taking the main clutch pin out when replacing the clutch, thrust bearing arm should be attached inside the bellhousing. some models used this method but only on select few. i got 2.8 lwb '97 and had to do clutch recently, had nightmares trying to split the box from engine until we realised it had the pin. hope that helps mate.
