looking into getting a compressor for my workshop. Gonna be respraying (not professionally) so am likely to need to run; sandblaster, sanders, sprayers, air ratchets etc.
Would something like a 25 or 50 ltr tank with a 1.5 hp engine be enough or am I going to need something bigger and more powerful?
Please PM if theres anything tidy for sale.

A 100CFM petrol or 3 phase.
For everything else, a 2.5 horse 50L tank minimum would be ok. I'd personally be looking for about 13CFM and a 100 - 150 tank for using air tools though.
You can't use a sandblaster on a house hold compressor, well you can spend an hour and blast an area about the size of your hand :/

my SIP 50ltr 2hp one cant keep up with using an orbital sander either, It empties the tank in about 30seconds!! But it works ok with air ratchets, impact guns, needle guns etc
