Hello,
I'm hoping that someone can give me a few pointers.
I have an Impco single point LPG conversion with and emmegas changeover switch and wiring loom. The system itself works fine however I would like to get the Led Fuel indicator level working on the changeover switch.
I know that the system for the fuel indicator is an optional extra and requires a sensor to be purchased. However, the wires for the sensor are capped off insulated and strapped to the chasis ready and waiting for a sensor to be fitted (according to the wiring diagram it's the green wire to be attached to the sensor and then it has to be earthed).
I dropped my 4x4 off at the local LPG centre who said he would be able to attach a sensor (0-90ohm) and that it would be a simple procedure.
However, he was unable to get the sensor to work (even by directly wiring it into the back of the change over switch directly).
I'm really stuck now as the LPG centre seem unable to solve the problem. I have a change over switch that partly works but I would like the led reader to work (even though i've heard that they are pretty basic and a bit unreliable). At the moment the only way I can tell how much LPG I have in the tank is to set the tripometer when I fill up and gauge it that way.
I would be grateful for any assistance that anyone could give to me.
Many Thanks
Boot.
