Right.
Nearly 10 years after I toyed with the idea of LPG-ing my series 3 I have finally gone and bought the Tinley Tech twin carb LPG kit with the 80 litre tank.
The engine's running well with low emissions (according to my MOT 2 weeks ago), so far so good.

With all the gizmos in the kit i'm a little bit daunted with the prospect of the conversion. Confused

Are there any pointers for me as a novice LPGer?
(ps I am aware of the certificate / insurance implications).
Any help would be great!
Pete.

Fitting the kit is dead easy.

Nothing complicated.

But it needs to be setup right...

And matched to the engine.

I'd fit a flashlube too....

You don't need flashlube for a 4-cyl if it has had an unleaded valve seat conversion, or for any V8.

Have TT supplied guidance on e.g. minimum distances from exhaust? (for compliance) Getting the vaporiser facing the right way? (for reliability) etc.

cheers, Ross K
