Lo mate,
I got the AX10 ARTR kit but next time I think I'll buy a full self-build kit to make from scratch, at the time I felt that it would have been too complex to construct for a first timer, however, having read the AX10 manual a few times I think I'd be able to construct it no problems this time around.
Apparently the ARTR is better than the RTR somehow but I'm still not sure how.
When you get it don't freak out if it doesn't flex as much as you want it to seems to me like with a 1:1 setup components need time to bed in etc.
Also seems like getting softer springs will help massively. For now I've left the stock springs on as 'training wheels' while I find my feet. Breaking these expensive items is seemingly quite easy for newbies! I broke the steering servo in less than 5 minutes on it's first run.

Hi yeah you can and I got one and it's taken everything I've thrown at it, I got a Tower Pro MG995 (available on ebay ranging from a £10 upwards). Those MG servos are pretty heavy duty so make sure your running gear can take the strain!

The AX10 RTR comes with plastic steering gear and suspension parts. Metal part upgrades have to be bought separately.
The AX10 ARTR comes with some metal parts in the steering train and suspension elements.

all good rigs you comment on, just to let you know we have been told by our supplier that the Losi isn't available until May and the Venom Creeper is due the end of this month.

watch out for the import taxes though, I think you need to dump the box etc and say its second hand of something!! no doubt someone will come along and tell the facts etc.
