So, you say Czechoslovakia, but is it Czech Republic, or Slovakia? There is no Czechoslovakia anymore!

Hello!
They are not yeep axles, they are "M" axles - Aro M461. That is one of Vik`s Nivas. Vik is from Czech Republic. The blue Niva on photos is mine and i am from Slovakia. Czechoslovakia live forever in our hearts

Have you got any pics of how you mounted the diffs?, how much clearance is there between the diff pumpkin and sump?.
Have you raised the Niva at all?.

wheels are now only 235/75R15 in the future will be greater 31" (32")
Compare. Niva is left without any modifications

the axles are cheap.
They are from the vehicle ARO M461
good transfer 1:5,15
are sufficiently robust
Red and Blue Niva have rear differential locker, manufacturer offrotec

Easy solution to that tree problem, cut the tree off at the ground .

Met a tree at Tong (an off-road site) once. Needed to reverse so got out and checked all around the vehicle. Absolutely NOTHING in the way so, got back in and reversed - straight into a tree that had grown twenty feet in about one minute! It was NOT there when I started reversing - at least, that's my story!
And the Niva was only a couple of months old as well!!
Regards,

This is the first version. Did. weak. Today there are two stronger holders. photography is not.
needs to be done very strong. this is very troublesome!

this is how I did mine:
these two are before I welded in strengthening of the diff casing:
I agree they need to be very strong. the front diff takes a lot of twist when on full revs

thats a cut down rear axle. I have 4 more to make as of yet, all of which I am thinking of doing as a fully fabbed job, although two of the future owners already have axle cases for me so I may do two of each. Unsure of when I will get to start them at the minute though as I have a million and one things to do lol.
There is a drawing somewhere if you are interested in doing one yourself if you use an ally front diff to make a jig to get everything lined up right it's a piece of the proverbial cake to do if your handy with mr mig
