I dont think this can be here as it is not as easy as people may think. What if you buy a vehicle and it has faults, then you repair the car and then find it on a list such as this?
Also could possibly leave Difflock open to some type of claim etc.

I have put it in quarrantine until Richard or Simon have a look.

Regards

Colin.

I "think" they way to do it would be something like this.

This Make, Model, and reg number was my car. It had lots of problems that the main dealers/garage could not/want to fix. So I part exed it back to a garage in the area of (state area). So if anyone comes across this car then please make sure all the problems were fixed before you buy it!!

This was it was the current owner stating what was up with the car. But as you say this may not be the place for it.

Paul

I've recently handed back my D3 as the contract was up and I wouldn't wish that lemon on anyone. However I'm not sure my place to warn prospective buyers.

Worst cars I've owned are:-
1. Rover Metro - most un-reliable car I've ever had (air suspension, starter motor, alternator, ignition, battery and rust) Evil or Very Mad
2. Fiat 127 - king pins only lasted 1000miles, engine (2 cylinder 800cc) vibrated to bits every 500 miles
3. Ford Mondeo - clutch exploded
4. Chevy Camaro - cam shaft gears stripped and shoved a con-rod through the block whilst drag racing Wink
5. Lada Riva Estate - brought from new, lasted 40000 miles and 5 years, without a single service, then taken to Grimsby docks and exported to the USSR Laughing - only lost £3000 on the original purchase price Razz - but it was the worse car to drive - steering was terrible, brakes even worse, plus every time it rained, water leaked into the electrics and switched on the lights and windscreen wipers Evil or Very Mad

Its not possible to be as specific as singling out a specific vehicle, it is open to all kinds of abuse and could give us (admin) plenty of grief.

You're more than welcome to list the faults of your vehicle but with so many millions of vehicles on the roads there's not much chance of it being 'useful' to anyone.

Either you are speaking of a Fiat 126 (650 two pot airc-cooled rear engine) or of a Fiat 127 (750 four pot water cooled front engine)...
If you got a two pot engined Fiat 127 surely someone sold you a lemon...

Ah that'll be every FIAT we have owned since we've been out here (but cheap to fix).

Surely the question comes down to class faults & known weaknessess as opposed to driver fault and prejudice>

My Fiat Punto - Couldn't handle a simple greenlane without holing its sump, now its head gasket is away and it has a bald tyre.

They just don't make cars like they used to!
