on full lock (in 2wd) in my 2002 terrano there is a horrible grinding noise from the front wheels.
CV joints? front diff? where do i look first, and any tips.

If its a grinding noise then i would be inclined to agree with Xpajun, wheel bearing
If its more of a click click click noise then id be looking towards the CV joint.
Theres also a possibility it could be the steering lock stops, they have plastic covers on the ball which wear through and make all sorts of strange noises on hard lock, Copper slip on the ball and the sleeve it contacts will help stop it from being noisey. Theres 2 per side, one aft and one forward
Is it happening on hard lock only? and does it happen on both r/h and l/h lock or just the one lock
