My gearbox has always had a very small leak from the front somewhere as it was damp on the conversion plate between my LT77 box and Isuzu engine.
Now my clutch is slipping in 4th and 5th on a flat and 3rd gear and above on a hill, oil all over the underneath of the gearbox so am i correct in thinking its the input shaft seal thats gone ?
Also noticed its leaking from or around the filler plug
So looks like its a gearbox out job for me whoopeee

Well i'm f'ing ****** off at the moment
Not only has my newly rebuilt engine suddenly glazed its bores but the leaking input shaft seal on my gearbox i replaced 1000 miles ago is now leaking again but it seems worse
Anyone have any ideas why this is ?
I gave the input shaft a good tug/twisting and there was no play or grinding at all i cannot understand why this has happened

i know diesels will glaze if the engines are left running at idle for a long period of time. maybe the seal is been damaged when the new one was put on. you have to be really carefull with them, they cut easy
