hi ve just bought some 411 axles off unimog to put on my discovery bobtail just wondering if anybodys done 1 with 411 axles on before because ive been looking and there all 404 many thanks

The person you need to speak to is minimog, he's done alot on them... I've done mog axle conversion on my landy but they are 404 and i'm not sure whats the same or not and i'm just about to build a buggy with 404 axles but that dosn't really help you lol

hi it all depends on how good you are at fabricating mounts and pinion conversions (as no one does them for the later 411 axels) did you get the complete axle /props/torque tubes (or was you the person that got the incomplete pair off here) if you did then your very unlucky because you need to sorce the missing parts and its going to cost you if you can get them im just in the middle of doing mine to fitt a kitcar and its not a simple as you think because as been said the front axel diff is on the wrong side you can swap the off set but your going to need a new shaft on oneside to keep the locking diff working any how if your serious drop me a pm and i will give you more info Wink

dennis the 411 second gen axels are completly different from 404 axels but just out of interest could you pm me with a price for the 404 ones
