Hi

Got 2 front and rear difflocks in a swb vitara, however i was hoping to swap them into my suzuki sj.

ive got the rear arb out and although the sj shafts fit the arb is too big to fit in the sj diff carrier.

Ive not got the front arb out yet but what are the chances of it fitting in the sj casing and shafts fitting? Idealy i want to use it in the front as ive already got a lockrite in the back.

I know you use vitata front diffs to lower sj ratio.

so will the vitara front arb fit the sj front diff carrier

thanks andrew

The front one should fit in the front or the rear of the sj as long as it's not a 410, the back, as you said, is to large to fit in the sj casing.

I've heard of people using shortened vit rear axles on sj's before, maybe that's the way to go?

Yup as above the vitara front will fit front or rear of your SJ, the Vitara rear wont at all.

Dont suppose you want to sell the vit rear... Embarassed
