can anybody help me?
im a typical female my vit has 4 wheels and thats about my limit.
when im driving the revs keep dropping, if im in a low gear it has sometimes stalled. ive had the fuel filter changed. great for 2 wks but its started again, the last 2 times were after id put petrol in.
has anybody any idea what the problem is, and if so how 2 fix it

What year vitara is it? Can you tell us the engine size?
Also it's definitely a regular vitara and not a grand vitara?

Can you take a picture of the engine for us?

Does your engine look like this:



or like this:



If it's got the big grey/black plastic chamber on the top like in the first picture it's probably a fault with the carburettor.

Also, does it say "16-valve" on the top like the bottom pic?

Its possible it wont look like either of those Twiss, if its the Single point injection.

sorry 2 be a pain but my engine dosnt look like either of the photos. all i know is its a 1998 (r reg) SPAM boy with a 1.6 engine and its manual
