My circumstances have changed a bit lately and my Mog needs along with them! When I first got my 421 i was looking to use it on a farm we were about to buy to help with mucking out horses etc. the deal fell thru for the farm and we got the chance of land near where we live for the horses, to cut a long story short the mog will need to do a lot more road work. It currently has lo ratio axles as standard on a 421 with a nice low milage/hours 2.5 diesel
heres the question, can u fit the hi ratio axles from a 404 to get a better road speed? and would they be a reasonably straight fit?

you can do it but its not a straight swap for one the axels are wider and the tubes are diferent (so would have to fab props/tubes/suspension mounts )im doing this with mogwhy but more for stability than for the extra speed i know on the early 411 you can swap in a 404 gearbox which raises the gearing but yours is the later box for what you said last time
but if your going to try drop me a pm and i will exsplain it beter for you
