TFL have announced that vehicles converted to LPG will be expected to pay the full congestion charge of £25 a day rather than nothing as their vehicles are still equiped to use petrol.
They give 2 years for the changeover, which means that it will be unecenomical to run a petrol vehicle on LPG in London

As for the news, it means that owners that have spent £2k plus on their conversions will have 'wasted' that money effectively!

Ah but if these people were to "remove" the petrol tank then surely they could state that the vehicle is LPG only and therefore get the zero rate of congestion charge.
