HI ALL ,posted about axle upgrades on zuki forum. 411's were recommended ! would like 2 know more -width weight price availability your views compared 2 Volvo portals ? pictures.......bit long winded sorry thanks in advance Ricky

i think theres only me on here with a 411(could be wrong)
theres two types of 411 axel the mk1 its like a narrow 404 axel being of a one piece cast axel section
the mk2 is like the later 406 axel being a third member and the axel tubes bolting to the center section (some call them clamshell type axels)
they are the same width as a zook axel but ten time hevier (both axels proberly weigh the same as the whole zook)
you going to have to overcome a few probs before they will go anywhere neer a zook
first being the pinions will have to be machined to run a propshaft(at the moment no one does the 411 axel pinion conversions
the second the front diff is on the wrong side so you would have to do a diff swap or try and find a t-case with the front output on the pasinger side
as for availability ive only seen a few for sale and comand very high prices but you never know
as for comparing to volvos volvos look like zook axels against the mog axels
