I have recently aquired a set of Genuine Mangels Modulars. They are 7x16 landrover fit.
They appear to be tubeless but have a large valve hole?
They are marked with the following information:-
T-7JTx16-866 03/90 Mangels Minas Industrial S/A
Test SAEJ328
SAEJ175
Can anyone shed some light on this.
Thanks

They need to have at least one safety 'hump' built into them to make them suitable for the fitment of tubeless tyres. If they are suitable for tubeless tyres then you need to go to a good tyre dealer (with a wheel)ideally someone who deals in tractor tyres and ask them for some tubeless snap in valves for the wheels. The 03/90 figures are when they were made.

Thanks Mr Tyre,
They do have a 'safety bump' (at each side) and I have spoken to my Tyre Man and he says he can get tubeless valves to fit the big holes (hopefully short ones)
Now all I need to do is balst and paint them and find some tyres!
Cheers
