Light weight Mog for this years season

Those who followed Team Icon in the UAE Desert Challenge last year will recall that we had a few issues with weight of the rear cab.
Chris has had the angle grinder out and shed nearly two tonnes of weight from last years truck in preperation for this season.
We had the first rally in the new light weight 1500 yesterday and was pleased to report that it goes like stink! Bigger injectors, a new Turbo all helped us get a respectable 11th place from 18th starters. We even beat some of the 4x4 cars and came into the money for a change!

I maintainthe middle seat of the three man crew and as soon as my mates send me some picture from the rally route I'll post them up. The only stuff I took was footage from my MP4 digi-cam inside the cab...but it's too shakey to understand whats going on.

Even with Air-con working we managed to hit nearly 90kph on some of the straights! I can't wait for the new inter cooler to arrive from Akinson Voss!

We lost 7 minutes pulling a couple of our French mates back to the start with their broken down Ni$$@n.
During the prixe giving ceremony afterwards we learn't that we were only 4 minutes behind the tenth place which would have won us another 1200 quid if we hadn't stopped!
Next time...they can walk!

We had frogs at each end of the truck! This wee fella is strung up to remind them!
