Hello all,
Just got a new Freelander 2.... Got driving lamps in a pod on the bumper. Anyone know how to adjust them? They're pointing at the ground at the mo, but I'd rather they were illuminating the distance.
Thanks in eager anticipation!

The little round lights in the bumper are front foglights and are designed to give a short range low down beam. They are operated by the switches to the side of the main lighting control - the other switch is the rear fogs. They should only be used when visibility drops to below 100yds (I got a fixed penalty some years ago for using front fogs during clear visibility conditions). Driving lights are incorporated into your main headlamp units. As far as I'm aware the front fogs are fixed in position and can't be adjusted to shine into the distance (as mentioned, it would be illegal anyway). The foglamps may only work with dip beam.
Regards, Dave.

You can get driving lamps fitted into a pod next to the fog lights. The driving lamps come on with main beam. I have found out the theory of adjusting them, but it involves unclipping the shroud from the pod, and I really do not want to risk breaking them.
Think I'll go back to playing with the RRC. more difficult to break.
