could anyone please tell me when Jeep stopped fitting the 6cyl 4.0 litre petrol engine to left hand drive Grand cherokees.

they were still available to be registered by dealers up until 2005 but to the best of my recollection they stopped producing the 4.0l in the grand Cherokee in 2003. in right hand drive they were discontinued in 2002.
