As far as I'm aware using SVO makes you a producer as you are using it for a different purpose than that that was intended.

I have just contacted HMC&E and as long as you don't produce more than 2500 litres a year then tou don't have to register. You still have to keep records of how much and when you produce it. You have to keep this information for 6 years. Dancing Dancing

Hi Paul,
if you ring them they will give you a call reference number, as far as I could gather from them this is equivelent to registering, just no paperwork, if you keep a note of this with your records of production then you shouldn't have a problem.
