I want to wire the fan on my road rally car to a switch, so it can be turned on and operated manually.
There are two options though:
1) Just wire it to a switch so it requires switching on manually and doesn't kick in automatically
2) Put a switch in so it can be operated manually but still comes on automatically as it does currently.
Which option would be best, if 2 is even possible?
Cheers, Sam

Do you need a navigator ???
Option two please. I have mine that way with a warning light to tell me the fan has actually come on.

If you wire it as #1, you are bound to forget one day (well I would)!
See this thread for a sketch on how to wire the fan system of OFF / AUTOMATIC / ON.
