The fuel injector is responsible for spraying gasoline into the engine of a vehicle. Rough engine performance, poor fuel efficiency, and throttle issues are all early indicators of a filthy fuel injector. It's possible that you'll flunk your emissions test.
So, what's the best way to clean your fuel injectors? Typically, this procedure is carried out by a qualified mechanic. However, there are various methods for cleaning fuel injectors without having to remove them at home.
How can I do that?
Step 1: First, you must locate the fuel injectors. Consult your car's manual if you're not sure how your engine works.
Step 2: Get a fuel injector kit. The cleaning solution for fuel injector, which is commonly made of polyetheramine, is one of these items (PEA). This is usually in the shape of a liquid pump. These "pumps" typically have a tube that must be connected to your fuel injector rail through a port. Make sure your fuel injectors are disconnected from the engine’s fuel pump first. Then your fuel pump fuse can be removed.
Step 3: Now that the engine’s fuel line is disconnected, turn on your pump, which then blows the cleaning solution into the fuel injector.
Step 4: Start the engine while your fuel pump is turned off. The cleaning liquid will be burned up by the engine, and it will ultimately shut down.
Step 5: Replace fuel injectors, reinstall your fuel pump fuse, then have a quick test drive.
