absolutely any vehicle can run on well made bio fuel. there is already a percentage of bio in pump diesel.
the key words are well made.
if you are talking about going to a commercial producer and putting it in your car, you will notice no difference.
if you are talking about your mate in the back garden then one of two things may apply.
1) he has been doing it for years and has the process off to a fine art and his bio will be higher quality than most commercial producers.
2) he`s just started mixing it in a bucket, swears he knows what he`s doing but is that off it on methanol fumes he doesnt know what day it is.
so.... two things.
find out which one he is and find out if you mean biodiesel or veg oil......
